About Me!My name is Erin Campbell and I am starting my 7th year at Golden View Elementary. I have taught kindergarten for the past 7 years and am looking forward my second year in 3rd grade! I am a mom to 2 boys ages 10 and 12 who are growing VERY fast. We like to spend our time outside hiking, visiting SF, watching baseball (GO A's), going to the beach and going to as many fun places to eat as we can! When I am not busy being a mom and a teacher I enjoy going on adventures like zip lining, baseball games, river rafting, fitness and have been known to participate in a mud run or two. My family and teaching are my favorite things.

My Philosophy
Students today are expected to learn in many different ways. From reading and writing to science and math. All academic subjects are important and vital for a successful future. The classroom and teachers are here to help students succeed in every area. It is however just as important that we continue to develop our children and students in all areas of life. We need to remember age appropriate expectations and facilitate growth in the soft skills alongside of the academics. Students are open and engaged to learn when they feel comfortable, respected and heard . The classroom environment should encourage all the aspects of developing students in academics and life skills.
